It's common in the legal world for attorneys to rack up fees traveling to meet with clients and attend court. Attorneys commonly charge clients the same hourly fee for driving time as legal work performed. This means that attorneys profit hundreds and sometimes thousands of dollars for doing nothing. The Sam Ross Law Firm is different. Our clients will never be billed for time spent traveling.
Meet Attorney Sam Ross
Attorney Sam Ross has had experience doing business litigation for many industries and in many different courtrooms. Sam has worked with clients in construction, finance, lumber, book publishing, retail sales, transportation, and other industries. He has successfully helped clients through lawsuits in State and Federal court.
Sam is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) and helps clients navigate the legal challenges of data breaches.
Prior to opening up his own practice, Sam was an intern for Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Rebecca Bradley and a paid Law Clerk for the Dane County Circuit Court. He conducted legal research and wrote initial draft opinions for Judge Nia Trammel, now-Wisconsin Court of Appeals Judge Chris Taylor, and now-retired Judge Frank Remington.
Sam also worked for other law firms, learning under the guidance of experienced lawyers such as Sean O’Neill, Yaron Nili, Kyle Hanson, and Dan Arndt.
In Spring 2025, Sam was an adjunct professor at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, teaching business law.
In his free time, Sam enjoys traveling with his family, hiking, cheering on the Badgers, and attending NASCAR races.Education
